Don Julio 1942 is an anejo tequila made by Casa Don Julio in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The name commemorates 1942, the year Don Julio Gonzalez began making tequila at age 17, going on to become one of the industry's most respected figures before selling his company to Diageo in 2014.
1942 is made from 100% Blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, double distilled in copper pot stills, and aged a minimum of two and a half years in American white oak barrels. It's bottled at 38% ABV.
Tasting notes: caramel and chocolate on the nose, agave and tropical fruit on the palate, with vanilla and oak on the finish. It's smooth enough to sip neat, which is how most people drink it.
This bottle can be custom engraved on the front. Your engraved message or logo appears with precision laser detail on the bottle itself.
Note: Liquor cannot be shipped to Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Mississippi, Texas, or Utah.
